Media Lesson 5 - Representation

This person is presented to us in a way that you get the sense of what he is about, gangster and dangerous. As a teen this artist produces the sort of music I listen to, gangster rap. He is giving the image that he is rich; you can tell that from the wheels he is sat on and the chains round his neck.
By the tattoos and the look he is giving the camera you can also tell he is quite a strong proud person. Most of the messages of how he represented are all in the image, the big wire wheels, wearing his trousers low, loads of chains these are all indications of him as a person.

The target audience for this artist personally it think the age of 14, because that is the sort of age you get out there and hear this sort of music and decide whether you like it, this sort of music is only played on certain channels and at certain times due to the explicit language and meanings of the songs made by this artist and artists of this genre. These songs include topics such as drugs, sex and women. They often also sing about where they come from the hard upcoming they have had and then compare and talk about how far they have come and what they have managed to achieve regardless of their roots, they also never forget where they come from that is something that is mentioned in gangster rap very often.
