The trailer above is of the well known Paranormal Activity film, the first one, as a group we have chosen to do horror. We identified that in horrors there are very quick camera movements and every time there is a camera movement there tends to be a new type of camera angle. Due to only having a two minute slot we thought by doing horror in a short space of time we would be able to include many different camera shots and be able to create a good piece. 
In the group we are all fans of horror films and all have visions of what our end product would look like hence doing all the camera work and acting ourselves. 
We had many ideas as to story but it was late down the line when we confirmed one, thats what the other aspect of doing horror, the story can be flexible and we found this to be an advantage.
Another advantage of horror is you can make any setting/backdrop into horror, we have filmed many scenes inside the school but if i did not tell you that then you could only guess where they where filmed. Due to have Apple Mac facilities we were able to alter clarity, sound and lighting in the first few scenes we shot, we made the backdrop dark and filmed the scenes and then when it came to editing we found they where too dark and making it brighter from the Mac did not give the effect we were looking for, so we where able to go back and re-film the scene in much more light and then darken it which helped us alter it to specification.
